註釋Samuel Trethewey of Cornwall, England, was born in 1794. He married Agnes Robins. She died in 1841 and about two years later Samuel married Elizabeth Symons (d. 1855). By the early 1860's, Samuel and his children were living in Ontario. Samuel's son James eventually moved to the Fraser Valley in British Columbia where he was involved with the lumber industry. Covers five generations of the Trethewey family and their part in the early history of the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
