There are personal diaries, 1950-1986; scrapbooks containing correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, invitations, and theatre programs arranged chronologically by theatrical production 1933-1982; press cuttings 1977-1986 about films, ballet and the Arts generally; and photographs. The papers cover his association with the Australian, Sadler's Wells and Vic-Wells Ballets, and with actors and dancers including Katharine Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Sir Laurence Olivier and Alicia Markova.
