Higher-Order Processing in the Visual System
註釋Vision may be considered as proceeding in a sequence of representations, from data-driven representations of the retinal image to object-based representations that provide information about the outside world. If this is true, then it is vital we understand the nature of the representation at the earliest levels, because this will constrain the nature of all subsequent processing. This text brings together leading neurophysiologists and psychophysicists to discuss this processing in several different types of visual perception.
