The Total Strategies to Catchment Wide Water Pollution Management
註釋Water pollution management issues are still treated as localised problems and dealt with in a mono functional and reactive way. With present pace of socio economic growth, strains and impacts on availalibity of water resources for multi-purpose users are being felt. The paper, in the light of present views towards balanced development for resources and environmental conservation, presents the integrated or total problem solving approaches and decision making processes for guarding our catchment/river systems through a consideration of Total Catchment Management (TCM) establishment. TCM application to catchments in Europe and Negeri Sembilan for specific uses was explored. TCM plants be recognised as an essential element for the successful achievement of an industrialised country. [Authors' abstract].
