John Whitaker (1722-1798) and James Whitaker (1726-1789)--sons of Charles (1693-1739), and grandson of immigrant John (d.1713)--moved from Maryland to Washington (now Allegheny) County, Pennsylvania about 1767. John later moved to Westmoreland County, Virginia, and after 1788 to Kentucky. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
