註釋
Discusses Jewish influence in the history of Colombia, especially in the province of Antioquía, whose inhabitants, according to tradition, are considered to be descendents of Jews. Compares Colombian negative stereotypes of Antioquians to the stereotypes referring to Jews, finding them similar. Summarizes the activities of the Inquisition in Cartagena, focusing on the period of greatest activity: 1610-1697. The Inquisition of Cartagena was not very efficient because of the corruption of its functionaries. Conversos were able to influence politics and to buy favors from the governments and the Inquisitors.
