Before Derek L. Davis wrote Their Eyes Were Black and his debut horror novel, Evil Has A Target, he dabbled in writing short stories self-published on the Lulu platform. Now, for the very first time in years, Derek has brought back those stories and has revived them.

Everything you will be reading in this collection are all of the short stories Derek has composed, left untouched and forgotten on the Lulu site, going back to the early 2000s. Even though these stories are what the author considers to be juvenile, they show something of who the writer used to be. They show a young writer who would eventually grow up to be a better one.

These stories are a historical, dynamic record of creative growth, going back to the year 2000 and up to 2022, with five new stories, including a short story one never before seen by others until now.
