In this current scenario, obesity and diabetes are increasing worldwide as obesity is the condition that results in weight gain by increasing excessive body weight which is associated with many factors such as genetic factors, socioeconomic status, sedentary lifestyle and more inclusion of processed foods in the diet. So, there are various ways to prevent obesity and diabetes as physical exercise, healthy diet, and natural constituent as Flavonoids for developing safe products that are present in plants which is responsible for various properties as an antioxidant, anti-diabetes and also to combat obesity as anthocyanins, flavonols, flavones, flavanones, flavans-3-ol, Isoflavonoid. This chapter summarizes the concept of Flavonoids and sources of Flavonoids for preventing metabolic disorders like obesity and diabetes
