Field notes Vol. 637 documents botanical collecting by William Balée in 1986 in Pará, Brazil on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with co-collector Benedito Gilberto dos Santos Ribeiro. It is comprised of a photocopy of notebook pages listing numbers 2308-2654, collected June 10-17, 1986. Location is the Terra Firme Forest, Xingu River, Assurini Indian Reserve. Entries include the common plant name in the Assurini (Tenetehara) language and notes on usage by the Assurini Indians.
