The Black Holocaust
註釋Bodies were stacked one upon another, the stench in the air was sickening and most fowl. Shackles could be heard as the chains met together. Moans and groans filled the darkness in the underbelly of the ship. The smell of human waste and bodily fluids made it unbearable. The screams of women and children could be heard coming from overhead, every day there was the sounds of the dead being thrown into the sea. This was the journey Africans would make to the place that is called America.
