Employment Trends and the Expectations of Employers
註釋This paper was presented to a conference of teachers on preemployment courses for secondary students at the Professional Development Centre. It presents the authors views of modern technology and how this has changed requirements of school leavers. In particular, the education system is examined and its relevance to prospective employers is discussed. The author provides some guidelines as to what an employer might expect of an employee in the future. Some of the precepts of basic educational content are challenged in the light of changes brought on by new technology.
