註釋Pentagon 9/11, first published in 2007 by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, is a comprehensive account of the September 11, 2001, attack on the Pentagon and its aftermath, including details on the damage to the Pentagon building and the effects on the people working inside, and the scope of the rescue, recovery, and care-giving efforts. The firsthand accounts of survival, tragedy, and heroism were drawn from hundreds of interviews and from published and unpublished sources. Included are 32 pages of photographs, plus diagrams and illustrations detailing the path Flight 77 and the Pentagon (note that the illustrations and photos in this edition are in black and white); end matter lists names of those killed in the attack, copies of NTSB reports, chapter notes, bibliography, and an index.
