The Economics of Health and Medical Care
註釋The primary purpose of this book is to provide the reader with the elements necessary to understand and apply basic economic principles to the health care field. It is assumed that the reader has no prior background in economics, and a minimum of mathematics is needed to follow the discussion of topics. One goal is to present usable economic concepts. Another is to give the reader the "task" focus to make him or her aware of the questions being answered by the analysis. The subject matter is divided into three parts. The tasks that correspond to these parts are description, explanation (or prediction), and evaluation (or prescription)
