註釋Magician and acrobat, Long Tack Sam (1885-1961) was born in Shangdong province, China. He was a successful Oriental stage magician when many music-hall tricksters pretended to be Chinese. Sam was a ceaseless globetrotter who worked on Broadway with George Burns and the Marx Brothers and was a huge hit in Europe, especially Vienna, where he married and had two daughters who would become part of a family act.
