Steel Images is an illustrated history of Finnish steelwork expertise and the works featured are extremely varied. What is immediately obvious is that steel construction in Finland has had an international flavor from the very beginning. Only 15 years ago it would have been difficult to find examples of the use of steel in architecture in Helsinki, but today that situation is dramatically different. On new construction sites visually layered images of steel are everywhere to be seen.
