The collection consists mainly of photographs (colour and black & white) documenting activities on Hamilton Island in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Subjects include Keith Williams' 60th birthday in 1989 and the 1989 Concours d'Elegance awards; the 1991 Concours d'Elegance; a 1991 Fashion Parade and the 1992 inaugural Australian Resort Fashion Awards. There are photographs of notable visitors to the island, coloured slides of attractions and accomodations, and promotional pamphlets and menus. There also are two copies of different editions of the 'Hamilton Island Story'.
