註釋David Copeland, parents not listed, was born about 1720 in Londonderry, Ireland. His first wife's name is unknown. They had 2 children. David married his 2nd wife Deborah, last name and parents are unknown) about 1753. They emigrated to Virginia about 1765, settling in Loudoun County. They had 6 children. David died about 1796 and Deborah died about 1806. They are buried in the Ketoctin Baptist Church Cemetery in Loudoun County, Virginia. Their descendants have lived in Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, and other areas of the United States.
