註釋After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the future of the People's Republic of China (PRC) became the focus of world attention. Based on a theory and facts, the PRC is already beginning to change as the Soviet Union did and this process cannot be stopped any more. The collapse of the Chinese Communist system will happen within five years. But because of its geostrategic significance and one-quarter of the population of the world, its change has a significant impact on the world order. The extent of the crisis of its collapse will depend on whether there is peaceful change or violent civil war and that will largely be decided by what kind of a role--reformer or communist hero -Teng Hsiaoping wants to play. The collapse of the communist system will be caused by its essential and unavoidable fatal weakness -it acts contrary to human nature and is susceptible to the influence of the free world. Especially the actions of the US and the Republic of China on Taiwan (ROC) will accelerate the peaceful change. At the present stage, the ROC's strategy is Economic and Political offensive by the Taiwan Experience and has had great success. Now the PRC is changing rapidly and the US's right actions will be the key to resolve the crisis and create a permanent peaceful world order. But, unfortunately, the US still beats around the bush because of not really understanding the Chinese Communists.
