Healing Journey:

Krzysztof’s healing journey started many years ago.

He has been working as a holistic physiotherapist for the last 17 years, was a professional athlete. He is learning and cooperating with many indigenous traditions, healers, yogis and naturotherapists.

During 3 years of working as a team leader in hospice he discovered techniques that reduced the use of pain killers by 40%.

He was observing clients who were often coming back with the same problem. The treatment wasn’t so successful until he found out how to activate their own self-healing powers and they applied self-healing techniques he showed them.

By applying those techniques, we are able to release all that no longer serves us, and become who we really are, instigating the body's powerful self-healing ability.

"Everything in the body is interconnected and a holistic approach in therapy helps me find all the possible causes of disorders in patients. I am fascinated about how our psyche impacts the posture and patterns of our movement.."

- Krzysztof Klimek

About the Author:

I am a master’s degree physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal therapy, craniosacral therapy and acupuncture.

My passion is movement of the human body, and the impact of the human psyche on the attitude of the body. Everything in the body is interconnected and a holistic approach in therapy helps me find all the possible causes of disorders in patients. I am fascinated about how our psyche impacts the posture and patterns of our movement.

In my therapeutic work, I combine different therapeutic approaches that allow to influence the habits of movement, muscle tension and responses to stress. This type of therapy allows me to provide comprehensive treatments to pain and determine its cause.

I started my adventure with physiotherapy in 2003 when I graduated from the first professional physiotherapy school.

Since then, I have been gaining professional experience in many different areas.

At the beginning of my career, I was working in a charity organisation where I was taking care of children with cerebral palsy. Following that, I started working as a physiotherapist in a clinic and did my master’s degree at the same time.

In 2007 I began working as a physiotherapist and a team leader in the Regional Specialist Hospital. My main responsibility was work related to pain management in long-term treatments and in a hospice. I also worked as a community physiotherapist dealing with patients after long hospital stays.

In 2010 I moved to Synapsa Sport in Torun, where I was working as a physiotherapist and a supervisor of the sport manual therapists. During that period, I had a chance to work with many well-known sport personalities.

After a few years of work in Poland I decided to move to England. I worked at the medical practice My Medyk Medical Centre and in 2014 I opened my own therapeutic clinic Manual Med where I continue developing my skills until now.
