Television and Language Acquisition
註釋The embedded interest children have toward television has inspired educators and theoreticians since the 1970s to find an appropriate way of maximizing television's educational potential. Among immigrants in the United States it is commonly believed that the English language can be learned by watching television. This paper seeks to study the aspects in television that aid in second language learning, and proposes methods that recreate similar circumstances in the classrrom without the technology.
