Mentions manifestations of antisemitism, such as restrictions in employment and in residential areas and after-school beatings of Jewish children by neighborhood gangs. Mentions the numerus clausus at Manitoba Medical College and the rejection of a Jewish student to represent the University of Manitoba Debating Union. also mentions the growth of fascism in the 1930s, with Brownshirt meetings held in rural districts around Winnipeg, and the marshalling of forces in opposition which resulted in the passage of the Manitoba Defamation Act, the first group libel law in Canada.
