From Green Flags to Blue Flags 2
註釋In July of 2013, Estes Park, Colorado-born Douglas Nelson Kenney, an autistic spokesperson, published his first-ever work of literature, From Green Flags to Blue Flags: The Story of My Life, documenting his life with Asperger's Disorder. He was invited to host a book sale/signing at the autumn 2013 Transition Conference at Talking Sticks Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. There, he met Brad Cohen, a famous spokesperson with Tourette Syndrome, and literally sold out of all his copies of From Green Flags to Blue Flags at his first-ever book signing. While doing all of this, Doug was also one of the greatest students at his high school, a model student who was being recommended a scholarship award and had won 4-consecutive "Student of the Month" awards, a record for his high school. Douglas was on top of the world, professionally, and academically. 3 very long years later, Douglas had abruptly found himself in a very dark period in his life. He had gone from being a model student at his high school with potential, to Rock Bottom. His parents had divorced, he was in debt, he faced numerous academic problems, he was nearly killed in a near-automobile collision, he lost his Estes Park reputation after starting a vicious smear campaign against a famous NASCAR driver (and champion), and he relapsed into a long-time addiction to soda, which put a hiatus in his writing career. His life could not have sunk any deeper. Join Douglas as he explains as to how he managed himself during his lowest years of his life, and, with help from film star Andy McPhee, made an enormous professional comeback by the year of 2018, which was his most accomplished year ever. This project has been endorsed by numerous celebrities such as Peter Stuart (Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory actor), Andy McPhee (AWA wrestler and Sons of Anarchy actor from Australia), Dr. Stephen E. Olvey, MBE (IndyCar doctor and Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), Ashton Bingham of Trilogy Media, Mike Curb, Cary Agajanian of Curb-Agajanian Motorsports, Vic Sifton of Canaska Motorsports, and a variety of other known celebrities. This is edition #1 of the book with one of Doug's fondest memories during his professional comeback; his trip to Arches National Park in September of 2018.
