Uma dor tão desigual
註釋This book is the result of a challenge to eight Portuguese authors to explore the multiple and tenuous boundaries that define psychological health and what separates it. In very different styles, an extraordinary array of writers provides us with texts that show how any of us can live through difficult times and need help. These are stories of loss, loneliness, weakness and delirium, but also of hope and humanity. These are stories of people we might know and perhaps know intimate and rich stories of men and women like us. The area of psychological health is still subject to many prejudices, which make it difficult to seek professional help and stigmatize those who suffer. It is intended with this book to combat these prejudices, awaken consciences and help find a way out.
