註釋An autobiography of the life of James McBride born 9 May 1818 in New Lancester, Fairfield County, Ohio. He was the son of Thomas McBride (1776-1838) and Catherine John. James married 1) 7 Mar 1844 Olive Mehetable Cheney in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. They settled in Willow Creek (now Grantsville, Utah) in 1850. He married 2) 7 Nov 1856 Marian Louisa Redden (1841-1875), and 3) 25 Oct 1875 Christine C. Johnson. He died in 1876.
