Posie Parker is a fun-loving golden retriever who lives with her humans, Lucy and Mom, in New York City. Posie is also a therapist, just like Mom. But while Mom helps people understand their feelings and make and keep friends, Posie helps animals with their problems.

When a new dog named Shadow moves in next door, Posie is excited to befriend him. But she soon learns a bully at the dog park has Shadow acting shy and scared. Can Shadow overcome the obstacles of bullying with the help of Posie, Princess the Yorkie, and their friends?
