Governance and Political Process in Kiribati
註釋Paper linking research on 'good governance'in the Third World to a case study of the Republic of Kiribati. It questions the validity of the ideologically driven approach taken by the World Bank and suggests that standard checklists of good governance characteristics do not sufficiently allow for factors such as cultural diversity and local economic circumstances. Includes references. The author is professor of history at Massey University, NZ.
