註釋In this publication we present a short Latin tale in prose preserved in the Codex Miscellaneus from the Roca-Puig collection. The main character of this text is the emperor Hadrian (AD 117-138). In it we can follow the emperor’s relationship with a sinister character, Raecius Varus. We present a complete transcription of the text of the papyrus with a critical apparatus, a reconstruction of the correct Latin text and a translation, and a complete linguistic, historical and literary study
