註釋A balanced diet is the key to sound health. It comprises a right proportion of intakes, like, protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and other minerals etc. It is related to one's age, health and profession. For example, a diet which contains carbohydrates, vitamins, mineral salts, enough fat (but not in excess) and proteins in a right proportion in necessary for growth and maintenance of the body according to age and size of the body and occupation of a person. Normally, it should be able to provide about 3000 calories per day for a normal adult. It should contain all essential elements in appropriate proportion. An average person requires carbohydrates, proteins and fat. This work is an audible attempt in dealing with all the concerned issues of diet and nutrition at length.
