Hitler ou Staline
註釋Surveys support for either Stalin or Hitler on the part of pacifist French socialists in the 1930s in their attempts to avoid war. Attracted by the "socialist" component of National Socialism, many French socialists minimized Hitler's antisemitism which they interpreted as a purge of speculators and capitalist parasites. Ch. 17 (pp. 214-220), "Pacifisme et antisémitisme", states that the Right, blinded by its hatred of Jews, did not pay heed to Hitler's designs against France, and that pacifist French socialists accused Léon Blum and his friends of "warmongering Judeo-Bolshevism". Mentions the antisemitic newspaper "L'Atelier" and socialist Alphonse Toussenel's work "Les Juifs, rois de l'époque" (1844) which were very popular during the Vichy regime.
