(tracks, scratch marks on trees, scat, etc).Each species is illustrated in colour and some show both male and female if there are significant differences. Seasonal pelage changes, colour morphs and major subspecies are also illustrated. Over 220 black and white illustrations include drawings of skulls (three views - dorsal, ventral, and lateral), with mandibles.
