Combating the Global Terrorist Threat
註釋The War on Terrorism is a new kind of conflict, one in which a final victory may never be achieved. American strategy has been to never strike deals with terrorists--there will be no truces, no cease-fires, and no peace agreements. Instead, the United States will deploy long-term military, diplomatic, and economic tactics, and try to deal with the virulent anti-American sentiment that provides a fertile breeding ground for international terrorism. This book describes the U.S. strategy for dealing with countries that provide support or a safe harbor for terrorist groups.
