David Ackerman (d.1662/1663) married Elisabeth Bellier in 1641, and immigrated in 1662 from The Netherlands to New Amsterdan, New York. He died at sea, and his widow and family settled in New Amsterdam. Descendants lived in New York, New Jersey and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and elsewhere in Canada.
