註釋
In this thesis, first, we address the evolution of terrestrial radio and the rise of the podcast generation. Here, we showcase statistics that state that FM radio stations need to recognize that change is necessary if talk radio is going to be relevant in the 21st century. My show, which is a vocal platform targeting the millennial audience is evolving-trying to find its voice-trying to defy the status quo exploring different outlets to promote our media content. Over and over again, I hear talking heads in the media speak for millennials as if we're a piece of recycled news. The following report for the Chris Collins Show describes my methods as to how I execute a 1-hour episode on a weekly basis, research given into each guest, exploring new trends of delivery on social media, and how each segment apart of the show provides to a demanding young audience looking for a new source of information. Finally, I explore how I've taken my production skills taught throughout my time at California State University Los Angeles by highlighting additional tools and exercises learned during my graduate studies.
