註釋Newell D. Goff (1877-1933) was the son of Robert Goff (b.1831) and Elizabeth Carrier (b.1840). He was a descendant of Anthony Goff, Jr. (b.1656) who was the first to come to America. Newell was born in New York on a small farm. Newell founded the Merrimack Loan Co. and later invested in other businesses. He married Eva Agnes Crane in 1917 and they were the parents of one daughter.
