Progress Report on Homelessness in Hamilton 2003
註釋This report is intended to update the Hamilton community's condition of homelessness and report on the progress being made to address this issue. The report is divided into six sections based on the sections of the Community Action Plan on Homelessness in Hamilton. The first section describes some of the indicators of the current crisis of homelessness. The next sections review progress & challenges in services, issues of access & equity, addressing poverty, and housing. The final section on Aboriginal issues is intended to educate the non-Native reader on the long history of homelessness in the Aboriginal community and the factors that contribute to the over-representation of Aboriginal people among the homeless population in Hamilton. The report concludes with a summary of recommendations addressing the challenges identified. Includes glossary.
