Results of project whose aim was to establish a database of operator activities, communications and movements that occur on ships bridges in arctic navigation and to apply stochastic modeling techniques to the data to reveal the structure and dependencies among these events. Database was established from records of activities aboard M.V. Arctic, M.S. Thuleland, and M.V. Canmar Kigoriak during navigation in ice in the eastern arctic and in the Beaufort Sea from June 1983 to October 1984.
