This article will demonstrate four key points. First, that militaries around the world have implemented cyber warfare as part of their military doctrines. Second, cyber warfare poses a serious threat to critical infrastructure in the United States. Third, cyber warfare cannot be policed through international treaties. Fourth, for the foregoing reasons, the federal government needs to protect critical infrastructures in the United States from cyber warfare.
