This training manual provides the information needed to pass the commercial applicators licensing examination on integrated pest management in ornamental and turf grass in the state of Missouri. Weeds, insects and diseases are identified, defined and discu ssed. Both black and white illustrations and color photographs further clarify the information. Each chapter ends with a diagnostics chart comparing symptoms, descriptions and pest. There is one chapter with information on equipment and calibration techniques and three chapters concerned with pesticide safety, environmental concerns and application of pesticides. Includes a glossary and a brief summary of federal laws and regulations.
