Ferdinand the Frog lives with his family on a big pond. Ferdy wants an adventure, so he asks his mum and dad if he can play on the other side. They tell him that it is too dangerous because a Big Boogie Bear lives there, but Ferdy doesn't believe them. The naughty little frog disobeys his parents and cross the pond. Ferdy finds some new friends and has lots of fun, but when it's time to go home he learns that mums and dads know best, and that rules are for a reason!
