Often young African American men don't have access to the mentorship that many other groups have.Early on my years as a younger man, I would meet peers of mine who simply had no idea about many of the things I thought was common knowledge. But it wasn't just in the mentorship or the workplace. -- For a little while, I was involved in ministry very heavily, and once again I was amazed at the number of ministers who displayed just a basic lack of couth, decorum, decency and manners...and this was true even for some of the more educated ones.
