Environmental Assessment Methodology
註釋The major output of this study is a methodology for environmental impact assessment and detailed instructions for its implementation (Vol. 1). The basis for the methodology is decision analysis, which provides the framework for a meaningful quantification and balancing of various environmental impacts. A computer program (Vol. 4) was written to assist in the implementation of the methodology. The methodology for assessing industrial implications and secondary impacts of central solar-electric stations was developed using an input-output formulation, and a computer model was developed to help estimate these impacts (Vol. 2). An independent assessment of the market penetration of solar energy to the year 2000 was made using Bayesian statistical techniques to evaluate different future scenarios. Techniques for assessing the likelihood of these scenarios were also developed (Vol. 2).
