註釋Manuscript document signed (2 sheets sewn together, forming a booklet of 8 pages). Witnessed by Anthony Low, Benjamin Gorton, and Susanna Gorton. Proved November 13, 1793, and signed by James Jerauld, town clerk of Warwick. Sarah Baron wills her possessions to several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She grants freedom to three people whom she had enslaved: Philes, Sibinah, and Tony, also leaving them various possessions, including beds, bedding, clothing, and furnishings. Barton describes Philes as "my negro woman," and Sibinah and Tony as "my negro girl" and "boy" respectively.
