註釋Artist book edition in celebration of Rolando Estévez who worked as prolific book artist and co-founder of Ediciones Vigía; booklet issued in roughly-torn corrugated cardboard covers hand painted with dark colors and opening up to give way to a pop-up of a cut-out representation of a human figure holding the Vigía lamp in one hand while standing on a basket of bobbins as if it were a boat and holding a sheet of fabric with the other as if it were a sail. The boat is coasting on colorful paper waves underpinned by webbing suggesting a fishing net, and the waves roll up against a historical Cuban cityscape. The same figure and lamp are repeated on the front cover with flowers and an autumnal leaf while the Cuban city reappears on the back cover, illuminated by a very stylized Vigía lamp concentrated in a flame erupting from a volcano-esque cardboard footing. The book's closure consists of two pieces of string linking the leaf to the flame when the knot is tied.
