註釋Henry Comly, believed to be the son of Henry Comly, was born in England. He was a weaver of the town of Bedminster, Somersetshire, near Bristol, England. His first wife was named Judith. Three years after Judith's death, Henry married Joan Tyler in 1673. Their son, Henry Comly, Jr., was born a year later. In 1682, Henry and his wife and son immigrated to America. They settled on a tract of 300 acres of land in Warminster Township, Bucks Co., Pennsylvania. Henry died in 1684; Joan in 1689. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, and elsewhere.
