The European Convention on Human Rights
註釋This text provides a thorough examination of the issues that have contributed to the position of stalemate which the Bill of Rights debate now occupies in the UK. The primary purpose of the study, however, is to emphasize the inadequacies of the case for incorporation by way of arguing in favour of alternative means by which to ensure that the requirements of the Convention are more keenly observed. It is suggested that a system of pre-legislative scrutiny of all legislative proposals for compliance with the European Convention should be introduced.
