Chiefly descendants of Halvard Halvardson (1808-1886) and Siri Torbjornsdotter Eide (1817-1891) Varland who live in Norway and America. Halvard was born on the island of Fogn. Siri was born at Mosnes. They were the parents of twelve children, one child died young. Four of the eleven immigrated to America.
