General description of the collection: The Anthony B. DeAngelis papers include a completed Korean War Veterans Survey questionnaire describing the operations of the Quartermaster Corps in combat, theft, morale, military leadership and the change of command between MacArthur and Ridgway. He also reports a frienly-fire incident with British troops, gives his opinions of Allied forces as well as enemy forces, and describes the conditions of prisoners of war, military-civilian relations and medical care in the Army in Korea. The collection also includes a photocopy of a letter sent by DeAngelis to Ridgway on 28 March 1988 as well as Ridgway's reply to him dated 30 April 1988. The collection also contains an excerpt from DeAngelis's memoir which cover the period from 1950 to 1951, a news clipping on the Quartermaster Corps from Stars and stripes, and his original assignment cad and meal ticket from his Navy transport.
