Spelaeodromus sneznikensis, a new species of a troglobiontic leptodirine beetle is described from the cave Brezno I above Jelenja Draga on the Snežnik plateau in south-western Slovenia. The new species is closely related and similar to the Spalaeodrumus pluto (Reitter, 1881), before this the only known species of the genus; this finding represents a significant expansion of the genus range as well.
