註釋The large-format landscapes of the German-Hungarian painter Szilard Huszank (*1980) stimulate the imagination: Some paintings look romantic and playful, while others are charged with an almost palpable tension. His expressive, color-intensive forests, plant forms, or mountain reliefs seem familiar at first glance, but increasingly dissolve into abstract color ornaments upon closer examination. What remains is a notion of a landscape that each individual can enliven with his or her own thoughts. The new publication brings together the landscape paintings of the past three years and provides insights into his artistic working method.
