Separation of Glyoxylated Hemoglobin with Varying Oxygen Affinity by Polyanion Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography
註釋Considerable research effort has recently been directed towardthe modification of stroma-free hemoglobin (SFH) to allow its useas a basis for blood substitutes. In this communication, a fastprotein liquid chromatographic (FPLC) method is described whichseparates optimally glyoxylated hemoglobin from a mixture ofnative and partially glyoxylated hemoglobin. The hemoglobinfractions were characterized by their oxygen-binding affinity andtheir electrophoretic mobility on cellulose acetate.
